Timeline: FDR Day by Day
Franklin D. Roosevelt Day by Day is an interactive chronology showing Franklin D. Roosevelt’s daily schedules as president from his first inauguration in March, 1933 to his death in April, 1945.
This interactive timeline features historical appointment calendars, documents, photographs, audio, and film from the archives of the Roosevelt Presidential Library. The project was inspired by the work of Pare Lorentz, a Depression-era documentary filmmaker, who chronicled FDR’s daily activities as president with extensive research over many years. In addition to digitized daily White House appointment schedules, you can follow along the Day by Day timeline to find historical documents and photographs related to a particular month in history.
