The eight principles of the Atlantic Charter were:

 

No territorial gains were by the US or UK
Territorial adjustments in accord with the wishes of the peoples concerned
All people have a right to self-determination
The lowering of trade barriers
Global economic cooperation and the advancement of social welfare
A world free of want and fear
Freedom of the seas
Disarmament of aggressor nations and a common disarmament after the war
